1. Overview

DockRelayX is a dock and yard operations platform used by businesses to track door status, trailers, and shift activity at their own sites. This policy covers the DockRelayX website (dockrelayx.com), the DockRelayX web application (app.dockrelayx.com), and the DockRelayX mobile app for iOS and Android.

2. Information we collect

• Account & contact information — name, work email, company, and role, provided when you request a demo, create an account, or contact support.
• Operational data you enter — door and bay status, trailer numbers, reefer temperatures, fuel levels, arrival times, notes, and shift reports entered by you or your team while using the product.
• Device & usage information — general technical details such as app version, device type, and operating system, used for support and reliability.
• On-device data — the Yard Check tool in the mobile app stores yard-check entries locally on your device (and, where you export or sync, in files you control) so it keeps working without a live connection.

3. How we use information

• To operate and maintain the dashboard, reporting, and yard-check features you use.
• To respond to support requests and demo inquiries.
• To send scheduled operational reports to the recipients your team configures.
• To improve reliability, fix bugs, and maintain security.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use operational data (trailer numbers, temperatures, notes, etc.) for advertising.

4. Data sharing

We share information only: with service providers who host or support the platform under confidentiality obligations (e.g., cloud hosting); when required by law; or with your consent. Data entered by your organization is visible to your organization's authorized users, not to other DockRelayX customers.

5. Data retention

Operational data is retained for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Data stored locally on a device by the Yard Check tool remains on that device until cleared or exported by the user.

6. Your choices

• You can export or clear locally stored yard-check data at any time from within the app's Settings.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us below.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

DockRelayX is a business tool intended for use by adult employees and contractors of our customers. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
